RAMMSTEIN, MACHINE HEAD, IN FLAMES, SABATON Honored At 'Metal Hammer Award Show'; Video, Photos - Sep. 17, 2012
MACHINE HEAD, IN FLAMES, RAMMSTEIN, SABATON and CANNIBAL CORPSE are among the bands that were honored at this year's installment of the Metal Hammer Award Show, which was held on Friday, September 14 at Kesselhaus in Berlin, Germany.

Angela Gossow (ARCH ENEMY) hosted the event, which featured performances by SABATON, ELUVEITIE and CALLEJON.

Metal Hammer Award Show winners:

* Legend: Corey Taylor (SLIPKNOT, STONE SOUR)
* God Of Riffs: Michael Amott (ARCH ENEMY)
* Best Album: IN FLAMES - "Sounds Of A Playground Fading"
* Best Debut: WHILE SHE SLEEPS - "This Is The Six"
* Best German Band: RAMMSTEIN
* Best International Band: MACHINE HEAD
* Best Live Band: SABATON
* Metal Anthem: CANNIBAL CORPSE - "Scourge Of Iron"
* Up And Coming: GRAVEYARD
* Maximum Metal: Vinnie Paul Abbott (HELLYEAH, ex-PANTERA)

Sounds of playground fading, you're kidding me, right? Best live band should first and always go to Rammstein, never even Heard of Sabaton.
