Video: SULLY ERNA's Sister Proposes To Boyfriend During GODSMACK Concert In Las Vegas - Oct. 3, 2012

Maria Erna, the sister of GODSMACK frontman Sully Erna, proposed to her boyfriend on stage during the band's September 28 concert at the Rock Vegas festival at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Video footage of the proposal can be seen below.

After the show, Sully tweeted, "Congrats to my crazy sister Maria and her new fiancé! 'She' proposed to him on my stage last night in front of Vegas! Hahaha! She nuts!"

GODSMACK kicked off the Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival tour with SHINEDOWN, STAIND and others on August 17 in Bonner Springs, Kansas, with Sully Erna starting his first major tour since canceling a European run several weeks ago over throat issues.

Also on the Uproar bill were ADELITAS WAY, P.O.D., DEUCE, REDLIGHT KING and others.

GODSMACK will also be one of the headliners on the ShipRocked 2012 cruise this year, taking off from Fort Lauderdale, Florida in late November for five days.

GODSMACK's first-ever live album, "Live & Inspired", sold around 16,500 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 19 on The Billboard 200 chart.

Marriage is for suckers. You don't need a legal agreement to love someone and live your life with them. Less than half of Americans are married, a large percentage of them will end up in divorce court. And we all know about the ones who have had the life sucked out of them and end up 'stuck' in their marriages and are too scared and drained to get divorced. And don't forget that around 1/2 of those married engage in infidelity.

...I think anyone who proposes in public deserves what they get. i.e. - either cheers from a crowd or utter humiliation at rejection.

Unless of course, she already proposed ahead-of-time and this was just a PR stunt.

3 times wtf. Why would you put yourself threw a 3rd marriage after 2 failed? Are you slow or something?

I dated my wife to be for 7 years. I said to myself I am gonna get married 1 time and 1 time only and will be as sure as possible that shes the right person and if after 7 years the marriage fails then thats it.

13 years later we are still happily married. 20 years total we have been together both between dating and marriage. You should have realized after 2 failed marriages that marriage is not for you .

i thought that was pretty cool..

Not usually a big Sully supporter, but he and the band gave his sister and his future brother in law something to remember. the fans didn't seem to mind either.

i would go to hell and back for both of my sister's, so wouldn't mr sully it appears. so that's ok by me.

and who cares that she proposed?
they said they were non traditional.

I came by here to see a load of comments rightly pointing out that this is a non story and really shouldn't be on the site at all.
