CHEVELLE Frontman Injures Knee In Stage Fall - Oct. 10, 2012
CHEVELLE frontman Pete Loeffler was hospitalized with a knee injury after taking a tumble off the front of the stage during the band's performance this past Monday night (October 8) at Rialto Theatre in Tucson, Arizona.

Prior to being taken to the hospital, Loeffler managed to return to finish out the set after a brief intermission during which he was deemed well enough to perform. He was seated for the remainder of the show (see video below).

CHEVELLE tweeted afterwards that X-rays showed no broken bones. However, Loeffler's knee was "too swollen for an MRI" and he was subsequently released with "an awesome knee brace." According to the band, Pete "may have to sit while playing for these next few shows" in Chico, California (Oct. 10); Reno, Nevada (Oct. 11); and Fresno, California (Oct. 12).

CHEVELLE is continuing to tour in support of its sixth album, "Hats Off To The Bull", which sold 43,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 20 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD was released on December 6, 2011 via Epic Records.

Exactly what I was going to say. I don't really listen to new Chevelle, but Wonder What's Next and This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In) are great albums. As for the Deftones, I absolutely love every CD except for Adrenaline, only dig a couple of songs off of it.

Come on' guys, Chevelle are O.K. it's not like they are the heaviest matter in the universe Behemoth style. They're a rock band that delivers.

If a member of Chevelle falls on stage, and nobody is there to hear it, does it make a sound?

Wow, shocked that there's not much hate for this band. About as heavy and 'diverse' as Staind.
