JASON BONHAM Says He Lived Out His LED ZEPPELIN Fantasy - Oct. 12, 2012
According to The Pulse Of Radio, Jason Bonham says that he was able to live out all of his LED ZEPPELIN fantasies when he performed as part of the band on December 10, 2007 at London's O2 Arena. Bonham, who's currently on tour with his critically acclaimed LED ZEPPELIN EXPERIENCE production, explained to the press earlier this week that after years of repeat viewing of the band's "The Song Remains The Same" movie featuring his father, the late John Bonham, it seemed to actually be coming true in the flesh.

Bonham, who received raves for his 2007 performance, recalled the thrill of sitting behind the drums for his dad and playing the one-off gig. "I kept saying, 'I really am playing drums for LED ZEPPELIN!'" he said. "This really is something special, something I dreamed about all my life in a very strange way, But on the night, yeah, I remember there was one incident — and probably John [Paul Jones] won't remember it like I do, but I watched 'The Song Remains The Same' so many times that there was a look that I did with John in 'No Quarter', and I remember [thinking] 'I know! That was just like 'The Song Remains The Same'! He gave me the look!' And it probably wasn't for the same reason you did dad, but that was very, very special for me, honestly." "That was the 'Where are we' look," laughed John Paul Jones. "Yeah," replied Jason.

Good for Jason....unfortunately, Tommy Clufetos lived out his Black Sabbath fantasy by replacing Bill Ward.

Yeah, and maybe Henry Vasquez did live out his Saint Vitus fantasy by replacing Armando Acosta lol

It's awesome that Jason Bonham's drumming is on the level nowadays to befit his father's legacy. Jason really was the only guy Led Zeppelin could turn to in order to wrap up their performing legacy with one last full show. Aside from Jason, the only other drummer I can immediately think of who would be as good in holding drum the drum stool would be Dave Grohl.

I cannot wait to get this 'Celebration Day' live album/dvd.

Life is Good.

I understand what he's saying. But is it really a "fantasy" when your dad was a founding member?

Please don't reform Led Zeppelin again. Just leave the band's name alone for f**ksakes!

Good for Jason though I'd love to see a tour and/or an album with this lineup maybe it's for the best to leave Led Zeppelin as it is and lay it to rest that being said I can't wait to see the Celebration Days thank you Led Zeppelin! without you there'd be no hard rock/heavy metal

Metallica realized that the Big 4 show had to be done at least a few more times because it was so awesome. It's a shame Robert Plant didn't see it the same way with this. But Jason is one stand-up guy and one amazing drummer! Would definitely go see his Led Zep Experience show!

Led Zep = Greatest band of all time

wouldn't it be awesome if they really did do the halftime show at the superbowl? that would be the highest rated 15 minutes of television ever!

Nobody else deserve it most than Jason good for him. He was already part of that band since he was a little man. He played drums on 'The Song Remains The Same' film for crying out loud!
