PHIL CAMPBELL, DUFF MCKAGAN Perform MOTÖRHEAD Classic With UGLY KID JOE In Cardiff (Video) - Oct. 28, 2012
Phil Campbell (MOTÖRHEAD) and Duff McKagan (GUNS N' ROSES, VELVET REVOLVER, DUFF MCKAGAN'S LOADED) joined reunited hard rockers UGLY KID JOE on stage on October 24 at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom to perform the MOTÖRHEAD classic "Ace Of Spades". Check out fan-filmed video footage below. Headlining the concert was Alice Cooper, with additional support from DUFF MCKAGAN'S LOADED.

UGLY KID JOE's new EP, "Stairway To Hell" was released digitally on June 5 and physically on July 9.

UGLY KID JOE released three full-length albums and toured extensively throughout the 1990s before disbanding in 1997.

When they came out it was the best thing to happen to hard rock/heavy metal in a long time.

Amazing voice, great musicians, fantastic lyrics! Saw them in T.O. at the Government! Awesome show!

If you ignored them in the 90's because of their hit singles, go back and listen to the rest of the album!

Whit has a great voice, I don't think he got a fair shake. The "silliness" of Ugly Kid Joe dogged him forever, even though, as ozzycooper mentioned, they're actually a pretty happenin' band.

I though him in Life of Agony could have been great (better than with the Tranny) if it had been given a chance, and that Medication band he did briefly with Logan Mader was KILLER.

at that show in cardiff he was wandering around after the ugly kid joe set, chatting to fans and having his photo taken with some of them on their mobiles and cameras

he went to near where i assume he had a seat and he was chatting with some people, so i thought id ask him for a photo, the next time the opportinuty would come up if it did at all,

well i waited 5 mins as he wandered again near where i was sitting , as he was coming towards me again i went over to him and politley asked if i could have a photo please phil and he looked at me and said "No" , i was gutted return to my seat watched the alice cooper set and wondered why he refused to have a picture taken with me, maybe he didn't like the look of me
i was polite, i wasn't drunk nor rude, i was wearing a pantera tee shirt so i don't know if that would've offended him in anyway, but i dout it

weird thing is he had happily had pics taken with fans 5 mins earlier, then he went wandering around again i think he may have taken more pics again he carried on chatting to fans

i kicked myself for not making a move whilst he was having pics with people

well they do say don't meet your heros i guess

and very underrated. Always enjoyed them...they had a cool mix of blues/metal/funk... Whit has a very underrated voice. He's got some pipes on him. He can sing the hell out of anything, and scream with the best of them.

had a trip down memory lane when I just purchased their debut EP (Madman in Disneyland, Everything about you). Great band; love the musicianship, Whit's voice is killer!

Great cover of Ace of Spades there.

Holy fucking fuck, this sounded great..

Exactly what most band lost these days, this sound. Raw, and perfect sound.

Ugly Kid Joe is still amazing. Very glad they're back..
