AEROSMITH's TYLER, PERRY To Guest On 'The View' - Oct. 28, 2012
According to Interbridge.com's "The Late Night TV Page", AEROSMITH singer Steven Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry will guest on the November 2 edition of the ABC daytime talk show "The View".. Check your local listings for details.

AEROSMITH will complete their contract with Columbia Records on November 6 with the release of the band's new album, "Music From Another Dimension", and the group may join the ranks of acts like RADIOHEAD, NINE INCH NAILS and PEARL JAM who have left the major label world behind.

According to The Pulse Of Radio, AEROSMITH singer Steven Tyler told reporters on a conference call earlier in the month that "if the band stays together, yeah, we'll definitely go that route, something somewhere over there. We've been keeping record companies stocked with millions of shekels for years, been making a lot of people rich — not that we haven't, but every now and then you get into arguments with labels (and) you think, 'Where is all this money going?' We've definitely thought of putting stuff out."

Guitarist Joe Perry was more cautious about the idea, however, saying, "We've talked about every idea you can think of out there, and we really don't know. There's so many different directions we can go."

"Music From Another Dimension" is AEROSMITH's first album of all-new material in 11 years, although three singles released so far from the disc — "Legendary Child", "What Could Have Been Love" and "Lover Alot" — have failed to catch fire at radio stations.

The band will begin a new leg of touring on November 8 in Oklahoma City, and plans to follow that with a world tour in 2013.

says rock and roll like a appearance on the view. I grew up with these guys and love the music but no way in hell you could pay me to watch that show. it might be fun to hear Joe put the whiney liberal bitches in their place if they bring up politics but I will have to catch the highlights here.

the new album so far, I think this is good strategy by them. I mean, no fan of "Rocks" or "Toys in the Attic" is gonna buy this crap. You may as well aim for the Old Ladies and Housewives market. Way to go guys! LMAO

But you can bet your bottom dollar that this album will sell like hot cakes when it drops. Not making a case for them like some pathetic fanboy, just saying....

I'll be almost ashamed to buy this, not for the music but for that ridiculous album cover.

DAMN!

it may sell, but to a pop audience..not being a wise guy, but I've heard the majority of it...it makes Just Push Play sound like Death Metal. Its a pop album, with 2 or 3 middle of the road rockers just to keep the game. Jack Douglas did not take them in a time machine to 1976

Just listened to the new album, and it sucks! 11 years for this? Even Jack Douglas can't save them. I remember seeing them in the seventies and they were great. Now it's all about miserable ballads and unmemorable riffs. Very sad.
