DAVID LEE ROTH Dedicates Song To Hurricane Sandy Victims - Nov. 5, 2012
According to The Pulse Of Radio, VAN HALEN frontman David Lee Roth has posted a new solo song online called "One Piece Thermo-Molded Country Plastic Chair", which he said is "dedicated to all who are affected by and recovering from Hurricane Sandy." Roth co-wrote the tune with Scotty Emerick and posted a video for it online as part of his ongoing web series, "The Roth Show".

Roth has plenty of spare time at the moment since VAN HALEN's 2012 world tour was postponed this past summer.

Guitarist Eddie Van Halen is recovering from surgery for a severe bout of a digestive system disorder called diverticulitis.

VAN HALEN is expected to resume touring in early 2013.

The band's first album with Roth since 1984, "A Different Kind Of Truth", came out last February.

Class act? He is one of the best self promoters. He is a narcissist. He is irrelevant if not fronting Van Halen. Roth fans are the biggest Kool-Aid drinkers. Roth's past work with Van Halen was great. He still puts on a decent show with them today. The voice is shot but passable. The new CD while decent is already forgetable and thank goodness that awful song Tatoo with it.

So he "dedicated" the song? Big deal. I'll dedicate a song, too. LOL.

Is he going to donate any profits from the song? That's the big question.

Especially when considering who's singing it.

Roth loves many places and is from the West Coast, but he loves NYC. Wandering the NYU area, near his ol' uncle's club "Cafe Wha??"

I appreciate his dedication and know he's contributing funds.

F*ck anyone that want's to take a cheap shot at DLR for the song, lyrics, etc. I don't see Fatty Hagar or his lover Marcia Anthony doing anything to help Hurricane Sandy victims.

Roth RULES!!!!!!!!

What exactly are you talking about? What has Roth done for the victims with this song? What he has done was self promote off the victims of the hurricane. Do you think victims whose homes were destroyed, have no electric, are waiting on gas lines, trying to get food and stay warm are looking online for ROth's song? This song is not for sale and no one is going to buy this so. no money is going to the victims. Maybe Roth is sincere here and really feeling for the victims but it looks to me like he is self promoting here. If he is that makes him a bigger narcissist then he already is if that is possible.

Now maybe he has donated something privately just like as you say Fatty Hagar or Michele Anthony may have yet you do not know that any of them have or have not do you? Now since you tagged Hagar and Anthony with nicknames let us call Roth Liberace. He is rather looking more and more like Liberace during the shows now-a-days.

There are no bigger Kool-Aid drinkers then Roth fans. First and foremost would anyone care or listen to this if Roth was not currently the lead singer of Van Halen? Lets be objective here he is talking his way through this most forgettable song. It is more proof without Van Halen Roth is irrelevant unless he takes his solo career to Las Vegas as a Liberace impersonator.
