SKID ROW: New Album Title Announced - Nov. 9, 2012
SKID ROW has set "United World Rebellion - Chapter 1" as the title of its next album, tentatively due in early 2013 via an as-yet-disclosed label.

In support of the new CD, SKID ROW will embark on a U.K. headlining tour in April 2013. The band's guitarist, Dave "Snake" Sabo, said, "The U.K. has been so loyal to us from the beginning. It's been far too long since we've been there. We're all very excited about going back and about the other great bands on the bill. We promise that these will be some of the best shows of our career."

The band's bassist Rachel Bolan previously told Times-Standard.com about SKID ROW's forthcoming sixth LP, "I think the next record, as far as what Snake and I are writing, is going back to what people would expect from SKID ROW. We're looking forward to it."

SKID ROW's last album "Revolutions Per Minute", was released on October 24, 2006 via SPV Records.

The band in 2010 parted ways with drummer Dave Gara and replaced him with Atlanta native Rob Hammersmith.

Rob spent many years touring and recording with Atlanta-based rockers ROCKETS TO RUIN and has performed with GUNFIRE 76, the band featuring MURDERDOLLS frontman Wednesday 13.

Skid Row without Sebastian Bach is not the same band. It's like Rush without Geddy Lee or White Zombie without Rob Zombie.

I agree. Its like that with many bands and its pretty rare when a successful band can replace a singer and remain as successful as they were.

You heard it wrong. They kicked out the drummer and are bringing back Bill Ward.

No Bill Ward = No Skid Row.

It doesn't matter what they call the album 'cause nobody's gonna buy it. Solinger sucks.

Who cares? They had 1.5 good albums about 100 years ago. They'd have a hard time drawing flies with or without Bach.

But at the same time it's not all about Bach otherwise his solo albums would have been better than they were. Sometimes it's not just the singer or the band but the whole package.

Skid Row made 2 great albums and those are Slave to the Grind and Subhuman Race, the first album is good and has few great songs, but the later ones were more heavy and much better. the 2 albums with Jonny are fine but nothing more. Both Skid Row and Bach are doing fine but not nearly as good moneywise as Skid Row ever did but still as good as many bands are doing and better then many.

Must really suck when Bach got all the credit when the other guys wrote the big hits. But bitterness is petty, especially when your playing casinos.

Dude Subhuman Race sucked. It had one half decent song. It was the album where the reward no longer outweighed the hassle of dealing with Bach. And so he was out. His vocals are so bland and monotone across that entire record......it doesn't even come close to the first 2 records.

After what Doc McGee said on the Kiss cruise and what tweeted a couple of weeks ago, it think a reunion will happen, but I don't see it being very big because they were never that popular...

Well - wait. Maybe not bullshit. What people expect from Skid Row these days is another lame attempt to recapture a glory they NEVER will as long as Bach isn't the singer.

Then again, lately Bach has been seriously sucking ass live - so maybe it's time to stick a fork in it, "Rachel".

i would rather have 500 japanese fans then 500 american fans that only listen to what supposed to be cool at any given time no matter how bad it is, it shows on the charts there. while the japanese just listen to the music and it doesn't seem to matter how old or whatever the bands are, if they are good they will buy it.
thats why many great bands always have good fanbase in japan and not usa.

at least they have an album title unlike Metallica for example for that black album, wich was a pop/rock album compared to subhuman race and even Slave to the Grind

So they should be commended for coming up with ANY title even if it sucks? Wow, that's a pretty high standard you have there.

And I didn't say anything about albums are good or not. But as long as you bring it up. The first two Skid Row albums are classics. Yes, the first one is hard rock with some pop elements. But the songs are awesome. Subhuman Race just plain sucks! It's pop/rock for the 90's. That album has so many grunge/alternative flavors it's not even funny. It's not heavy, it's just fucking DULL!

what album are you talking about? Subhuman Race nothing like any of the so called grunge album that came at that time and is much heavier then any of them, except maybe Louder then Love by Soundgarden.
and its heaavier then anything Metallica has done in 20 years

Even with Bach, they'd still be a bar band, or an opening act. There's no upside.
