FEAR FACTORY Guitarist Issues Update On DIVINE HERESY - Nov. 10, 2012
FEAR FACTORY guitarist Dino Cazares has issued the following update on his DIVINE HERESY project:

"Hello, DIVINE HERESY fans. I just wanted to give you the latest news on DIVINE HERESY. 'Cause there are a lot of rumors out there on whats going on with DIVINE HERESY. Well, only I can give you the truth.

"I have five songs written for the new CD. It's technical, brutal and melodic. Everything you would want from a DIVINE HERESY CD.

"I'm currently on tour with FEAR FACTORY for the rest of 2012 And part of 2013. When I'm off, I will complete the writing process and I will let you know who will be performing on the new CD.

"I am currently shopping for a new record company and have some surprising offers."

Bassist Joe Payne quit DIVINE HERESY in January 2011.

Drummer Tim Yeung, who has been recording and touring with MORBID ANGEL for the past couple of years, is no longer a member of DIVINE HERESY.

DIVINE HERESY frontman Travis Neal recently joined DIRGE WITHIN as the replacement for Jeremy "Jerms" Genske.

DIVINE HERESY's sophomore album, "Bringer of Plagues", sold around 3,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 148 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD landed at No. 4 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

DIVINE HERESY's first album, "Bleed The Fifth", opened with 2,700 units back in September 2007.

"Bringer of Plagues" was released in North America on July 28, 2009 via Century Media Records.

Divine Heresy is just one dude with some Guitar Riffs.. Dino, just use these new riffs for Fear Factory. Because, not for nuthin.. If Tim Yeung does not return to the fold, don't even bother. It was your Riffs, and Tim's Incredible Drumming that made Divine Heresy What it was..

Dino....I highly doubt that anyone one is waiting for new Divine material...Especially considering garbage you are trying to put out as Fear Factory right now. Sometimes the music can breath....

And yet there's still "label interest" in this project?

If that's the case, I have no band, but I can sing. Where's my record deal?

First off, get yourself a drum machine again. Then a vocal machine, and do the rest yourself. It saves you the hassle of having to interact with actual musicians, plus it apparently saves you lots of money. Forget self-respect, you did away with that long ago. The satisfaction of creating something from the ground up with other players? That is a pointless exercise at this juncture. Time is ticking for you, buddy. See that toilet flushing? There goes what was left of your relevance. Go ahead and keep on thinking you have another shot at success without talented guys like Yeung, Herrerra, Hoglan, Stroud et. al. to carry you. How'd that drum machine work out for you on that FF record? An utter bomb with the pitiful remnants of your fan base. Is it fun cancelling tours? You're not being CARRIED by these guys anymore, so what did you expect? Did you even think any of this through? Wow, you sure make good decisions, dude. Remember, you+yourself=nowhere. Welcome to the rest of your life.

just drop this project, the first album rocked but dino just focus on Fear Factory, get the organic "Obsolete"-element back and you'll be fine. last FF album destroyed.

Artists are more relevant than critics. FF, Assesino, DH...do them all! \m/\m/

does anyone really bothers about this guy? FF is a boring band, saw them a couple months ago and they sucked, plus Dino´s riffs are all the same no matter how many strings he puts on his guitar, they still suck;
I think right now he´s only good at eating nachos and burritos

Any body else get the impression that Time Yeung seems to only go where he can make the most money?

I'll take Nick Barker over Yeung any day.

Whats the problem with that? he's doing what he's gotta do to pay the bills. If me you or anyone else was offered a job to make more money i'm sure you would take it, I know i would.

While I'm stoked to hear new riffs from Dino, who will replace Travis, Joe and Tim when it comes time to flog the new material on the road? That was a killer band, and Tim is utterly amazing.

More Divine Heresy is always a good thing. They've proven it on two albums with two different singers and differing styles. How many bands can pull that off. DH is definitely Dino's project so anyone complaining that Dino is the only remaining member probably crap themselves when Max Cavalera retools Soulfly every few albums.
Let Dino do his thing. If the third album turns out as great as the first two then I'll be stoked. Dino works with great musicians and I don't think he'll lower his standards.
