TOXIC HOLOCAUST Song To Be Included In FX Series 'Sons Of Anarchy' - Nov. 15, 2012
The song "Bitch" from punk metal derelicts TOXIC HOLOCAUST will be clawing its way through your speakers during next week's episode of FX drama series "Sons Of Anarchy" (season 5; episode 11).

Comments TOXIC band leader Joel Grind: "We are all excited to announce the inclusion of our song 'Bitch' in the upcoming episode of 'Sons Of Anarchy'. All of us are huge fans of the show and this season especially seems to be upping the ante with each episode."

Tune in to FX on Tuesday, November 20 at 10:00 p.m. EST/PST to check it out.

"Sons Of Anarchy" is based on the lives of a close-knit outlaw motorcycle club from a fictional town in California's Central Valley. The show centers on then-vice president Jackson "Jax" Teller (Charlie Hunnam), who begins questioning the club and himself. "Sons Of Anarchy" premiered in the fall of 2008 and has since become FX's highest rated series ever.

"Bitch" comes off TOXIC HOLOCAUST's mercilessly abrasive "Conjure And Command" full-length, released last year via Relapse Records. The record, which Revolver praised for its "nuclear reactive riffage and Repo Man punk attitude," continues to reap critical hails.

"Conjure And Command" is available across several formats including a limited edition, deluxe CD and DVD set that includes a full TOXIC HOLOCAUST live show.

Very cool. Joel's a nice guy and I hope that this brings him a wider audience.

I enjoy both SOA and Toxic Holocaust. There is a little part of me that wishes I didn't read this. It would have been pretty cool to be watching the episode next week not knowing that the song was in there. And then all of a sudden, BAM! Toxice Holocaust!!!

not so new anymore, but totally agree with you, and SOA is great as well. I'm two seasons behind, so I'll have to wait to catch this one.
Toxic Holocaust is like the new motorhead.

Cool news! I love T.H., S.o.A. and esp. "Bitch" - maybe this'll bring heavier stuff into the show ...

I can't say that I'm a fan if I own none of his/their albums, but in my opinion Toxic Holocaust is one of the best that heavy music has had to offer in the last decade or so. I saw em open for Napalm Death awhile back and they had everything you'd ask for when it comes to thrash/speed metal.

And in this day and age of the new wave of thrash/speed metal bands like Municipal Waste and these guys popping up left and right, there tends to be somewhat of a lack of originality when 100 or so bands ape the style leaving nothing left for the first and foremost bands who started this sound in the 80's.

But hey, I'd rather hear a new metal band play in this style than some annoying mixture of death metal/metalcore/New York hardcore or deathcore, whatever that bullshit is called.

Back in my day they called The Accused and D.R.I. metalcore. Now all you have to be is a death metal band for some reason to get that title.

Just perfect.
Doug: Deathcore isn't metalcore, it's deathcore. And D.R.I. and Accused were also called "crossover" (the name comes from the D.R.I. album of the same name, when they "crossed over" to a more thrashy sound) which is a great definition. TH are a crossover band and crossover rules.
