DEEZ NUTS Sign With CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS - Nov. 15, 2012
Century Media Records has announced the signing of DEEZ NUTS. The brainchild of vocalist JJ Peters, the band was formed after his previous group, acclaimed Australian metalcore outfit I KILLED THE PROM QUEEN, decided to split up in early 2008.

DEEZ NUTS' third album, "Bout It", was produced by Shane Frisby (BURY YOUR DEAD, THE GHOST INSIDE) at The Brick Hit House in Massachusetts and is scheduled for release in Europe in the first quarter of 2013. Arguably the band's most diverse work to date, the CD features guest appearances by Freddy Cricien (MADBALL), Sam Carter (ARCHITECTS) and Jon Blake (ON BROKEN WINGS), among others.

Says Peters: "DEEZ NUTS and myself are extremely proud to announce we've joined the family over at Century Media and will finally have a label to call home in Europe and the U.K. for our upcoming full-length, 'Bout It'. Look at what we've achieved in Europe and U.K. doin' it DIY. With Century Media in our corner, there's no stopping us."

DEEZ NUTS are:

JJ Peters - vocals
Matt "Realbad" Rogers - guitar
Jon Green - bass
Alex Salinger - drums

Naming your "metal" band & Cds after 1990's hip-hop cliches is never a good idea. No Limit Soljas up in this piece

Never a good idea? Like you know of several others besides this one? I'm guessing not. Not that I disagree with what you're saying, but come on.

First Buckcherry, now these jokers! Century Media is not the label they were when I was buying Emperor on vinyl from Century Black.

Great band name, but I'm guessing they're kinda bad.

The Chronic was such a good album. Might have to bust that out.

Century Media is an embarrassment. How can anyone take the label seriously now?

I am hoping their songs say "Deez Nuts" over and over in every song like Body Count. Body Count was silly and great at the same time, man they even weinered their way into producing the last Black Sabbath album! Sabbath needs to take these guys on tour next time around. Can't be worse than having Clufetos in the band.

DEEZ CUNTS is a more appropriate band name.
