Second 'Kiss Kruise': Video Recap - Nov. 15, 2012
A two-and-a-half-minute video recap of this year's edition of the Kiss Kruise can be seen below.

The second Kiss Kruise set sail October 31 - November 4, 2012 from Miami, Florida to Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas onboard the Norwegian Pearl.

In an interview with Wallace Immen of AvidCruiser.com, KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons stated about the first-ever Kiss Kruise (which was held in October 2011), "The Kiss Kruise is a chance for all of us — the band and the fans — to have a ball. Just let your hair down and not worry about it at all. KISS has always been about breaking the rules. We've never liked that moat — the stage — separating the band from the fans. So whenever we do a show, we try to take the action right to your face. A cruise will let the fans get up close. We try to take it inside you, we want you to smell it and taste it and feel it."

When asked if the fans were going to get to interact with the band on the cruise, Gene said, "We're going to have a deck up top to ourselves and we will certainly want to bring up fans. It may to a little difficult to get down to the lower levels and hang out a lot, because you've got 3,000 people on board, who are basically going to shred you to pieces. It's all appreciated, of course, and I say all this with tongue in cheek — I don't mean my tongue in your cheek, but you know what I mean. The real idea of this cruise is to have fun. Everything about KISS is over the top. Everything about it is meant to really make every day we have above ground a fun day."

You can't argue the fact that they do their best to give the fans more than just a concert.

It is funny how people bitch about Kiss doing this or that, when in reality, they actually personify what it means to be a rock star. Do what they want, forget about the norm, ignore the detractors. Do what you want and enjoy!

so how does asking $1,500 for a meet and greet "give the fans more than just a concert"?

Hey, shouldn't this montage include a clip of Gene Simmons at the buffet scarfing down hash browns and chocolate eclairs?

Personally I don't give a damn for who's playing guitar or drums, or who's even in the makeup or not. Kiss have redeemed themselves in my eyes. Proving time and again that they're with you in good times and bad.

It looked like one hell of a party, that's for sure. :)

that about says it all. Its like the Village People to you. Who cares who created the music. As long as someone can replicate it, under the name KiSS, you're all set...Nameless guys, only known as Starchild, Spaceman, spitting blood, smoking guitars, selling caskets and KiSS water filters....

just like I have no clue who the guys are in the Village People, just the Policeman, the Indian, the effeminate flourist, don't care, its about the "Iconic" characters, to quote Paul Stanley. Might as well have young guys up there on stage and get a team of writer to create the music...sort of like the Archies(reference lost on 20 somethings), or Menudo.

you don't care who plays guitar or drums? same with GnR? why bother with bands? Maybe John Paul jones should tour as Led Zep with a bunch of unknowns, as long as they play the music like the record!

btw, Gene and Paul desperately need writers for their "comedy", just awful. That tongue in cheek line. Come on Gene, no one's laughing. Sophmoric sexual innuendo.

If their personas or icons were on such hallowed ground , why in the hell did they sell them in the 1st place ? They must not have thought much about these all hallowed icons to just pitch them . And please don't take it the wrong way , I'm not bashing on Ace or Peter , love both of them , next to Gene Ace has always been my favorite , but they did make the choice and I bet G & P got them for a steal .

you are right on.
this post seems filled with fanboy's who are just happy that they can now be included in the party (as long as they bring their wallets). No cares about the original members, the new members that kept them going (carr, kulick), only that they can now see the SHOW (1978 version and set-list).
Anyone that enjoys this line-up, or even thinks it's ok that singer and fake-ace where the make-up are not the type of fan I care to know. Kiss isn't the of band I can respect anymore with this type of marketing and these type of fans.
Losers. Enjoy real Kiss fan's (like me and many others who are hating on $immon$ & $tanley for what they've done to the band) sloppy seconds. We saw it when it was real - now you get to enjoy it when it's all done for name of $$$$$$$

That's me with the Ramones shirt in the one shot! Trust me, the best time you could ever have if you are a KISS fan!

You meet lots of cool people from all over the world!

Gene couldn't be any more accurate, the fans get treated like royalty, and the band goes all out for US!

I didn't expect to have THAT good of a time and I did! I hope to do it again next year!!!!

Sloppy or not, Ace fills the seats. $cab Ki$$ opens for Aerosmith and plays casinos and boats.

Call it what you want, but at the end of the day, it's 2 originals and 2 phonies, with the 2 originals trying desperately to recapture the glory from 30 years ago with the same boring set list and same show.

Yeah, meet and greets for $1500. At this point, you'd think Mean Gene and Paul would be thankful to meet fans for free.
