JOE LYNN TURNER, TONY CAREY Featured On New THE JAN HOLBERG PROJECT Album - Dec. 29, 2012
Legendary hard rock vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) sings three songs on the new album from THE JAN HOLBERG PROJECT, "At Your Service", which is being released in Norway in January via Nordic Records. Also making guest appearances on the CD are former RAINBOW keyboardist Tony Carey, Åge Sten Nilsen (WIG WAM), Gulli Briem, Skjalg Mikalsen Raaen, Eyþór Gunnarsson, Fridrik Karlsson and Ranveig Seljemark.

The CD's first single, "Outta My Face", which features vocals and lyrics from Carey, can be streamed below.

Joe Lynn Turner previously starred in Holberg's documentary "Street Of Dreams: Without A Dream In Your Heart, What The Hell Is There?" and also appeared on THE JAN HOLBERG PROJECT's last CD, 2011's "Sense Of Time".

"Street Of Dreams: Without A Dream In Your Heart, What The Hell Is There?" follows Jan Erling through the beautiful landscape of Norway as he gets his first real chance of a major breakthrough as a musician on tour with his favorite vocalist of all time — Joe Lynn Turner. The film gets up close and personal as we experience his ups and downs on his journey. Will his dream of becoming a rock star come true, or will he have to go back to his former job and an anonymous life in his wooden house by the fjord?

Tony owns that song. His keyboards and angry vocals remind a person of his hits in the early-mid 80's. Can't wait for ths to come out. For the dude who wanted a Planet P Project reunion, there are 4 albums total and Tony is PPP. Would love to hear another album by PPP though if that is what you mean.

well, Planet P Project IS back, & not only that: Tony Carey has joined up with TNT guitarist Ronni Le Tekro, who has been recording guitars (amongst other strings) on Planet P's (6th, BTW) piece of music release - the 5th was the 3rd & final CD in a trilogy entitled "Go Out Dancing", released as "Out In The Rain" back in 2010.
The working title for the new Planet P release is "SteelTown" & is due for release this summer.
A limited edition signed CD can be preordered at Tony's own website, www.tonycarey.com.
