'Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be - The Story Of Bon Scott' To Make Its Non-Theater Debut - Jan. 9, 2013
The first ever non-theater performance of "Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be - The Story Of Bon Scott" — starring Nick Barker on vocals, along with Tommy Boyce and Justin Garner on guitar, Alex Raunjak on bass and Steve Brown on drums — will take place on February 19 at The Corner Hotel in Richmond, Victoria, Australia. The show will honor the 33rd anniversary of the passing of late AC/DC legend Bon Scott, who died in 1980 at age of 33.

"Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be" tells the story of Bon Scott's life — his childhood, his family, his secrets, the bands that came before his rise to fame with AC/DC, and his rock and roll dreams. It follows his life from Scotland to Australia, through his hell-raising teenage years and the bands that came before AC/DCTHE SPEKTORS, THE VALENTINES and FRATERNITY.

From hippie epiphanies to bubblegum pop, to the iconic early years of AC/DC, "Hell Ain’t A Bad Place To Be" celebrates the music, the heartbreak and the life of Bon Scott — a quintessential rock and roll story that ended far too soon.

Who was so heavily into AC/DC (insisting on always playing it which put me of them for a while) and his parents were very religious, but somehow he pulled it of explaining to his parents the title "hell ain't a bad place to be" as not being anti-religious, imagine how stupid his parents were in any case their grasp of Englisch wasn't that good (being Dutch).

It does seem like yesterday for me anyways. I was in grade 7, it was first thing in the morning on the playground my buddy comes running over to me and had this look on his face and said I just heard on the radio that Bon died. I couldn't believe it. It was the first time i really experience death, the emotions that run through my body. I was mad at my buddy at Bon. Been a fan of AC/DC since i heard if you want blood album in 78. Ya i'm old, not crusty.

Young, Young and Scott greatest song writing team Ever.
