Do people still go to this event so that they can beat the crap out of others? I went to the first ever NEM&HCF and there were white-shirted jerkoffs beating up whomever they could find. Made the show totally unenjoyable.

Lulz, why put Hatebreed in the headline? They're local and always around. Opeth is far more important.

They finally got it pretty damn decent this year. The last few years have been coreful.

I think that fact that Anthrax is going to play Among The Living, and Rob just left, and Spitz seems to want back in. I'm sure it's a given he rejoined.

So then Mike Clark did officially leave sui due to some family issues. I dont remember where I read that, but that truly does suck he's one helluva rhythm player.

That's a pretty silly statement, given how many times Opeth has appeared at this show and how often Opeth does US tours.

When are you going to get around to allowing the Reply function to work for Chrome users? Because it does not work.

I can't wait to see Hatebreed headline this year. I've been to several NEMF's and have always had a good time. I've never been in a fight at any of them and I've been all over the venue. It is run really well considering it's a multi day event in worcester. In response to the person saying Hatebreed is local and always around. That is such a false statement. They tour maybe twice a year in NEW ENGLAND as a whole. They are big worldwide and I'm happy that they will be able to fit in this show with their busy schedule this year. Yes Opeth has played the fest a few times and we are lucky they do. I hear a lot of people complain about bands never touring the states anymore and that they wish they could attend the big fests over there. This is a great fest and a great way to see many bands for one admission. If you're not interested in the lineup don't attend but realize there are a lot of die hard fans of metal and hardcore that have a great time at the show each year. New England used to have a great scene but now many of the metal bands have gone overseas to tour or don't come anywhere near where we can see them. Thanks to Scott Lee and his whole cast of characters who spend a good portion of their lives bringing metal and hardcore to the fans of new england.
