JOHN CORABI Interviewed On 'Iron City Rocks' (Audio) - Jan. 18, 2013
The latest installment of the "Iron City Rocks" podcast (web site) features an interview with John Corabi, former lead singer of MÖTLEY CRÜE, THE SCREAM and UNION. The podcast is now available for streaming using the audio player below.

"Iron City Rocks" podcast (audio):

Corabi serves up a passionate, soulful dose of both new and classic songs on this all-new acoustic release. Available on Rat Pak Records, "Unplugged" offers five new original tracks, seven re-recorded classic songs and in addition, features an exclusive 2012 behind-the-scenes interview with John. The album features John Corabi on vocals/guitar, Cheney Brannon (formerly of COLLECTIVE SOUL) on percussion/vocals, Topher Nolen on bass/vocals, D.A. Karkos on guitar/vocals, Matt Farley on percussion/vocals and Bruce Kulick (KISS, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD) on guitar (on "Hoolgan's Holiday" and "Man In The Moon").

"Unplugged" track listing:

01. Love (I Don't Need It Anymore)
02. If I Never Get To Say Goodbye
03. Are You Waiting?
04. Crash
05. Everything's All Right
06. Father, Mother, Son
07. Hooligan's Holiday
08. If I Had A Dime
09. Loveshine
10. Man In The Moon
11. Open Your Eyes
12. I Never Loved Her Anyway
13. 2012 Interview (bonus track)

Corabi originally joined CRÜE in 1992 as the replacement for the group's original singer, Vince Neil, who was fired due to personal differences. With Corabi on vocals, MÖTLEY CRÜE released one critically acclaimed full-length CD, which ended up being a commercial failure in the wake of grunge despite a Top-Ten placing on the album chart. When Neil returned to the fold in 1997, Corabi was left on his own and formed the band UNION with ex-KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick.

Smoke the Sky?????

I've been a Motley Crue fan since TFFL. (Yes, I'm old) Love the original Crue but the album with Corabi is the best Crue album. Heavy heavy heavy..... If they would of used another name, maybe just maybe, things would be different. Just listen to Mars' playing and tone. Anyhow, my 2 cents. Rock on Crabby!

not too sure how Smoke the Sky would sound acoustic....

it's a great cd, but i don't really care for the new version of hooligans' holiday

i hope john finally comes out with a more rockin' cd sometime soon!

WOW! An interview where he doesn't talk 90% about Motley Crue 18 fucking years ago! Bravo John! Almost every interview its always about how he was kicked out of Motley. Even one of his latest shows in London, the guys going on and on about getting kicked out of the fucking Crue before the start of a song.

Hopefully this guy can realize that nobody cares about Hooligan's Holiday. He should have released this Unplugged record without any MC covers, just brand new material and never mention the words "kicked out", "Motley Crue", "Loaded Gun" in any media outlet ever again.

It will only be then that the world can finally start to notice how good of a singer he really is.

I loved the Motley album with Corabi but it is definitely not their best. Too fast, Shout and Feelgood were better albums.
