Classic Lineup Of Sweden's TORCH To Reunite For Netherlands' VERY 'EAVY FESTIVAL - Jan. 21, 2013

The classic '80s lineup of the Swedish heavy metal band TORCH will reunite for a March 30 appearance at the Very 'Eavy Festival in Stadskanaal, The Netherlands. Also scheduled to appear at the two-day event (March 29-30) are PRAYING MANTIS, DENNIS STRATTON, HIGHWAY CHILE/HELLOISE, WARRANT, ANGUS, METAL LAW, HARRIS, MARTYR, STEEL HORSE, PARRIS and ACT OF STATE.

TORCH in 2009 released "Dark Sinner" via Heart Of Steel Records. The CD was said to be "best-of" collection of sorts, featuring re-recorded versions of the band's biggest and best songs as well as two never-before-released cuts.

As long as a band can deliver the goods, they should.
Even better if viewed a classic metal band.
If the singer's shot -don't do it.

Too bad no-one ever told me about these obscure metal bands that have been popping back lately. All these reunions, classic lineups, one-off tour, one-off shows, re-issues of the first 1-2 albums...ah, so many probably great bands that no-one ever told me about...in the early to late 90's for example, no-one spread the word of metal to anyone, I had 1-2 friends who knew metal, we started from there. Of these 2-3 friends, I still thrive with metal and a growing collection, one of them got caught with other types of music years ago, one of them still listens to metal but is quite an asshole (like he always was to an extent) whom I haven't seen for a long time.

I probably wouldn't like to see a middle-aged male singer in red leather/latex...I know Cronos still wears dark red leather apparel with spikes, but at least he wears black tank tops with Venom logo and not a red leather/latex vest...!

What's up with the HeSmurfMan anyway?

I just hope the concertpromotor won't spam as hard as he did last time. The guy will honestly bug everyone in a 10 mile radius with long hair (irl and on facebook) about his festival.

That is THE best festival of metal nobodies I've ever seen, seriously it takes some doing to put a bill that shit together.
