L.A. GUNS: First Photo Of New Lineup - Jan. 25, 2013

The first photo of the new L.A. GUNS lineup — featuring the band's latest addition, guitarist Michael Grant from ENDEVERAFTER — can be seen below.

L.A. GUNS last week parted ways with its guitarist of one month, Frankie Wilsey (SEA HAGS, ARCADE), and replaced him with Grant. Michael made his live debut with L.A. GUNS last weekend in Chicago and Detroit.

Due to "extenuating circumstances and musical differences," guitarist Stacey Blades announced his departure from L.A. GUNS in early December.

Blades played on four L.A. GUNS albums: "Rips The Covers Off" (2004), "Tales Trom The Strip" (2005), "Loud And Dangerous: Live From Hollywood" (2006) and "Hollywood Forever" (2012). He also authored a book, "Confessions Of A Replacement Rockstar", which was published in 2009.

Come on guys...This is not good news...I was not happy about Blades departure..but you found a great replacement...who the hell is this new guy....Things seem to be winding down. Not good at all.

Do you know for a fact they have wigs on? What's with all this wig shit lately on here? I'm almost 52 and have a full head of hair that goes almost to my belt line. And I got a gut so it's on the low side. Some people go bald in their 20s and 30s but some people never do. My gramps had a full head of hair when he died around 83. Stop worrying about people's hair. Geez.

I saw them last week in IL. They were fantastic. Of all the 80s bands from that scene, no one sounds as good as Phil Lewis. Also, he's a humble kick-ass front man.

But you gotta admire them trying to keep it going. Saw them opening up for somebody during the early 90s, not great, not bad. Hell, what else are they supposed to do? Still, it's all a little...sad.

These guys will sound the same, since those guitar parts aren't that tough and they play it A LOT. The new guy will get it down.

Just want to know if there's chemistry for a future record.

Gotta give these guys props. The days of these dudes selling a shitload of albums have been gone since the early 90's, but If they're rocking and having a good time making new music, touring the world still, and making the fans happy thats really all that matters.

Last two L.A. Guns CD's were GREAT!
Probably just as great as the first two.

Stacey Blades did an awesome job in the band and he'll be missed.
I saw ENDEVERAFTER a few years ago. They were pretty good, I think he'll fit L.A. Guns just fine. Hopefully, they continue to put out awesome new music.

LA Guns is on tour constantly and the guys have 5-10 years left and want to work as hard as they can to earn good money before they retire. Being a member in the band must be really hard because they need to put up with each other in the same touring bus every day and be away from home many months. Touring isn't for everyone.

This band sounds really tight and convincing nowadays. One of the most underrated bands ever.
