KISS, MÖTLEY CRÜE, KORN To Headline This Year's ROCK FEST - Feb. 18, 2013
Rock Fest this morning officially unveiled the 2013 20th-anniversary lineup to feature headliners KISS, MÖTLEY CRÜE and KORN, with one headliner remaining (to be announced). Additional acts slated for the hallmark year include MEGADETH, THE OFFSPRING, SEETHER, WHITESNAKE, DEVICE (featuring David Draiman of DISTURBED), HALESTORM (recent Grammy-Award winner for "Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance" for "Love Bites (So Do I)"), STONE SOUR (featuring Corey Taylor of SLIPKNOT), SKILLET, THEORY OF A DEADMAN, POP EVIL and more.

Rock Fest organizers say this year's festival features both returning fan favorites, as well as highly requested new acts who are making their inaugural trip to Rock Fest. The focus for 2013 20th anniversary was to put together four days of rock acts that would flat-out entertain from the first show of the day straight through to the final show in true 20th-anniversary fashion. There are also some surprises in store for rock fans, such as the return of Brian "Head" Welch, former guitarist for KORN, who will be rejoining the band for their headlining show at Rock Fest 2013, as well as the return of drummer Tommy Aldridge to WHITESNAKE.

Rock Fest is held from Thursday, July 17 to Sunday, July 20 at the Venue in Cadott, Wisconsin. Lineup and ticket information can be found at www.rock-fest.com. The event offers an experience for rock music fans of all ages, focusing on a blend of the biggest and best names in active and classic rock. It is set on 320 acres in central Wisconsin in an interactive natural amphitheater setting, and home to over 8,000 campsites all within walking distance to the concert grounds.

Aside form Megadeth and a handful of All That Remains songs, that is a terrible festival.

wow... what to do? if you've seem ANY of my comments on here you know I'm a scabKiss hater. Tommy and Singer are selling their souls... greedo and pauline are killing the legacy of kiss. BUT, I am a fan... and I get corporate VIP tickets to this fest every year, only 15 minutes from my house (even do the countryfest version 2 weeks earlier, leave the camper there, free beer/booze/food/reserved bench seat in first 5 rows. If I paid, normally not a good enough line-up to justify even $75 a day for the lawn. With free VIP... should I where a "scabKiss sucks" shirt?

they always save a date or two to annouce a headliner....a lot of festivals do that actually...it's not that they can't find it, just some bands can't announce things right away or who knows what else why they can't annouce it right away, but the people at rock fest know who it is,....they just can't say anything just yet...

was rumored to feature guns N roses before the announcement yesterday. all other rumored acts are there - wonder if they're waiting to annoucne gnr, or if gnr backed out and that's why crue is headlining (which they shouldn't be). pearl jam is also on tour at same time in general area. that would be cool shit.

I bet the only reason Megadeth isn't headlining instead of Mötley is that KISS forced MC through on the business side of things since they are now touring buds!

for a band like Warrant to tour with a different singer to keep their fan base interested in case the original singer (and chief songwriter) ever gets well enough to return.

But now that Janie Lane is gone forever, it's pretty lame that they continue on without him.

Kiss, Megadeth, Whitesnake -- Worth the price of admission.

RockFest is a blast. It's in beautiful rural Wisconsin right in the middle of summer. People should all lighten up and go have a good time. Been there a couple times.

They could have saved money if they had gotten Mr.Speed. Their Ace Frehley is a hell of a lot better than the Fake Frehely Kiss has. He does a lot more convincing imitation of Ace to.

Whitesnake should be headlining. And Korn doesn't deserve to be up there.
