MERCENARY: First Studio Video Report Posted Online - Feb. 18, 2013
Danish melodic death metallers MERCENARY have entered Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark to begin recording their seventh album for a late 2013 release via NoiseArt Records in Europe and Prosthetic Records in North America.

Commented the band: "We are very excited to announce that we have entered Hansen Studios and have begun the recordings. Peter Mathiesen has already recorded all his drum parts, and he has done an absolutely amazing job!"

The first in a series of video clips featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the recording sessions can be seen below.

"Metamorphosis", the sixth album from MERCENARY, entered the official chart in the band's home country at position No. 42. The CD was released in the U.S. on March 29, 2011 via Prosthetic.

"Metamorphosis" was produced by Jacob Hansen (RAUNCHY, VOLBEAT, NIGHTRAGE, HATESPHERE, PYRAMAZE).

Jakob Mølbjerg - Guitar
René Pedersen - Bass, Vocals
Martin Buus - Lead Guitar
Peter Mathiesen - Drums

befor the band split in half, i loved that band...after René took over all vocals turned out not as good all due respect to René when singing solo....when he sang a song dedicated to his father that haqd passed away...that was amazin
