Florida's CENTURIES Signs With SOUTHERN LORD - Mar. 7, 2013

Southern Lord has announced the signing of the young Florida hardcore act CENTURIES.

The band will take part in this year's South By Southwest Music Conference, after which they'll tour out to Greensboro, North Carolina to record their as-yet-untitled new CD with Kris Hilbert at Legitimate Business.

Busting out with an emotive punk-influenced style of hardcore with elements of explosive metalcore and morose d-beat persuasions, CENTURIES should appeal to fans of comparable Southern Lord acts like BAPTISTS, HEARTLESS and NAILS, but their overall sound more akin to traditional modern hardcore acts than most any other on the label.

In addition to releasing several demo and indie recordings, CENTURIES has toured stateside alongside OLD WOUNDS, PRAY FOR TEETH, HOMESTRETCH and more, and toured Europe in late 2012 with Poland's DRIP OF LIES.
