ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL: Video Footage From Hollywood Press Conference - Mar. 19, 2013
The sixth-year lineup for Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival was officially announced yesterday (Monday, March 18) during a press conference at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California. Headliners ROB ZOMBIE and FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH answered questions during the event, which featured performances from HUNTRESS and BUTCHER BABIES.

Video footage of the press conference — which included having part of Sunset Boulevard being blocked off for the arrivals of FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and members of ROB ZOMBIE, who were transported by vintage motorcycles with carriages attached — can be seen below.

This year's Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival will feature the following acts:

Main stage:

ROB ZOMBIE
FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH
MASTODON
AMON AMARTH

Jägermeister Stage:

MACHINE HEAD

BUTCHER BABIES
BATTLECROSS
HUNTRESS

Musicians Institute Stage:

All tickets go on sale March 22 at 12:00 noon local venue time. The tour will stop in 26 cities across the United States and Canada as it makes its way to the Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas, Texas on August 4, 2013.

In addition to catching their favorite bands live, fans can take part in a number of festival activities, including playing the newest video games, perusing vendors, attending autograph-signing sessions and a slew of various interactive activities that will only add to the festival experience.

Rockstar Energy Drink will be sampling their products and providing awesome surprises for all attendees. Rockstar will also present the VIP/Contest winner area designated as The Rockstar Lounge and the festival area Party Like A Rockstar Tent where fans can sample ice-cold Rockstar and get autographs from their favorite bands.

As an addition to the festival's music and arts, Musicians Institute and the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival have partnered to create the Rockstar Mayhem Independent Artist Scholarship! This scholarship fully covers tuition and material fees for a two quarter IAP certificate (Room, Boarding and Travel are not included.) The application period runs from March 18 until June 1, 2013. and Behemoth should headline one stage or play the main stage. In fact, they should play on the same stage as Machine Head.

its amazing to me that there's enough fan money out there to keep all the metal bands touring,i mean there must be a couple hundred active metal bands right now. i say fuck yeah! the more metal the merrier \m/

I just have say this "festival" might be interesting if they got some different bands on this tour. It's cool Amon Amarth is on it and Bodom have never been on it, but come on. Most of these bands have been on this 2 or 3 times already. It's going on it's 6th year and i can think of a bunch of bands that would fit the bill that haven't been on it - Testament, Exodus, Overkill, Kreator, Morbid Angel, Soulfly, Fear Factory, Arch Enemy, Warbringer... The list goes on. But that's ok. I'd rather see those bands play longer than 30 min.

For anyone that might complain that this tour isn't coming to their town, you're more than welcome to take the San Bernardino date away from the tour.
Apart from Mastodon & Behemoth, this bill is garbage.
