If Stern is so amazing, then why would CBS rather take Opie & Anthony and relay their XM broadcasts, instead of even putting out some bigger bucks to keep Stern when his contract was ending? The O&A show won't be watered down, they don't curse that much as it is. Stern thought he could win by running away to satellite radio, but in the end he still has to take certain censorship orders from the Sirius management, however O&A get the satellite radio freedom and STILL get to take over terrestrial radio.

It's hilarious that Roth was so bad that CBS will be rebroadcasting a signal from terrestrial radio's enemy (sattelite radio) with the possibility that many people will like what they hear and subscribe to XM for the uncensored version, and they'll STILL have at least three times the amount of listeners than they did for Roth.

you're absolutely right, both O&A and Howard are good. i used to listen to howard on the way to skool and then O&A in the afternoon during deliveries and it kept me entertained. I have sirius now and i do listen to howard but i skip thru the other 200 channels bcs well i pay for it and might as well listen to it.
Its funny to watch everyone battle over XM is better than Sirius. its like you guys have shares of this shit or something.

The show started going downhill, but he fought until the end.
They might give Spammy a radio show? He ruined Van Halen! He turned a Ferrari into an Aries K! Turned Led Zeppelin into REO Speedwagon! Sammy totally manipulated his way back into Van Halen 2 years ago. I knew it was coming because of all the magazine interviews I read with him totally bashing the Sam/Dave tour and praising the other guys in the VH camp.
That's why I lost respect for him. The tour bombed in so many cities and it was rated one of the worst of the concerts of 2004.
Plus the setlist sucked. Sammy loved ruining the songs Dave did
and seemed uninterested in singing them. You all think he is way better because he can sing higher? Since when did screeching like a cat be considered 'singing'? I saw DLR at Casinorama and he put on a spectacular show with REAL VH hits. He doesn't do much martial arts because he had knee surgery recently. Roth may have his faults but you all seem to think that Spammy is perfect? He's not in the best shape either! In the one concert Van Hagar did, he seemed terrible and lost. Eddie was decent enough to throw in some CVH guitar bits in the last song. When CVH got back together (too briefly) in 1996, it was like magic. Then things turned awry. But look at Van Hagar now! Sammy is too busy bashing Ed and what does that tell you about him? He finished his tenure in Van Halen back in 1995/1996. No more! He even LIES about how Van Hagar outsold CVH by millions. That is total bullshit! Sam could have been on good terms with us CVH fans.
He had the choice...but he decided to go ahead and totally trash DLR on both stage and media. What does he get out of that? Even the brothers chose to be on bad terms with him. Van Halen to me is nothing but drama. Sorry to upset you RedRockers but this is the truth.
