MUSHROOMHEAD And DOPE To Team Up For THE MUSIC FOR FREEDOM TOUR

June 20, 2005

Jagermeister, MUSHROOMHEAD and DOPE have teamed up to rock our U.S. Military troops for FREE this summer on The Music For FREEdom Tour.

The tour will begin on July 25 in Cleveland, OH and run through the middle of September. A complete list of tour dates can be found at this location.

Anyone with a valid military ID will gain free admission to the show. Also performing on the entire tour will be Texas-based industrial rockers NOCTURNE, while support acts CROSSBREED and PITBULL DAYCARE will be appearing in select markets.

"This tour is a way for us all to give something back to the soldiers who put their lives on the line to protect America's freedom," says DOPE's lead singer Edsel Dope.

MUSHROOMHEAD's first DVD, "Volume 1", is set for release on July 26, which is also the same day that DOPE's new studio album, "American Apathy", hits streets.

MUSHROOMHEAD's DVD features concert and backstage footage that the band has put together over the last few years. The DVD gives fans an intimate look inside the life of the eight masked maniacs of MUSHROOMHEAD on and off stage.

MUSHROOMHEAD is currently working on a new studio album, which is set for an early 2006 release.

The first single from DOPE's "American Apathy", titled "Always", was just #1 most added at rock radio its first week out and is steadily climbing up the charts.

You can hear clips of DOPE's new album at www.DopeArmy.com and you can see a teaser of MUSHROOMHEAD's DVD at www.Mushroomhead.com. Both bands are part of Jagermeister's band program, which continues to be a leading supporter of heavy music. Check out Jagermeister's band program at www.Jagermusic.com.
