PARADISE LOST: 'In Requiem' Artwork Revealed; Photos From 'The Enemy' Video Shoot Available
March 30, 2007The cover artwork for the upcoming PARADISE LOST album, "In Requiem", has been posted online at this location. The artwork was created by Greek artist Seth, whose gloomy designs already graced releases by HEAVEN SHALL BURN and ROTTING CHRIST, among others.
In other news, PARADISE LOST has just shot a video for its new single, "The Enemy" on the Crimean peninsula in Yalta with the Ukrainian director Edward 209. Edward 209 already proved his talent with dark and bizarre looking videos for FRONT 242 and IN STRICT CONFIDENCE, and you can expect something really special. Right after the video shoot, PARADISE LOST co-headlined (with TESTAMENT) the Metalmania Festival in Katowice, Poland where they debuted "The Enemy" live in front of 4,000 Polish fans. A bootleg-quality video clip of PARADISE LOST performing "The Enemy" in Poland is available at YouTube.
PARADISE LOST's new single, "The Enemy", will be released on April 13. The group's full-length album, "In Requiem", will follow on June 5 in North America (May 21 in most of Europe).
PARADISE LOST recently posted two songs from the "The Enemy" single at the band's MySpace page. You can listen to a medley consisting of the single's title track, "The Enemy", as well as "Beneath Black Skies". Apart from these two tracks, PARADISE LOST's new single also contains the exclusive non-album track "Godless" plus a trailer for the band's upcoming documentary "Over The Madness", which was directed by Diran Noubar and is about to be premiered at the film festival in Cannes in May. The new single "The Enemy" will only be released in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy.
