ALL PIGS MUST DIE

ALL PIGS MUST DIE. And it sounds like they really mean it! The wrath on debut full-length "God is War" is as pure as man's inhumanity towards man and as potent as a bottle of Everclear. D-beat decimation, vicious hardcore, and nihilistic crust punk all mixed up in a big barrel of molten lava is what this one is all about.

So it seems to make sense that an album of that volatile mix by a band marching down a path similar to the one traveled by BLACK BREATH, TRAP THEM, and NAILS would include members of CONVERGE, THE HOPE CONSPIRACY, and BLOODHORSE and be recorded at Kurt Ballou's Godcity Studios. Now you surely know that "God is War" leaves abrasions and delivers with all the subtly of a pipe bomb. Good lord almighty, this one's a slasher of faces! A breaker of bones even! Not a dud amongst these eight tracks, "God is War" is not without its metallic thrash fury, but sticks closer to the hardcore/d-beat side of the tracks than acts like the aforementioned BLACK BREATH and TRAP THEM. The genre splicing means little when the only description of the sound polluting the air on "God is War" is "goddamned violent!" Take your pick; "Death Dealer" (no shit),"Pulverization" (again, no shit) "Sacrosanct", "The Blessed Void", "Third World Genocide", or "Total Extinction" (yeah, no shit),any one of 'em attacks with the murderousness of a hungry wolverine. ALL PIGS MUST DIE do it with great riffs, quick rhythmic stomp, and songs you can actually identify from one spin to the next.

A couple of tunes got left out of that list, didn't they? That's only because the comparatively long title track (five minutes plus) and "Sadistic Vindicator" (eight minutes plus) kill their prey in a slower, more determined manner, much like a serial killer takes his time and savors every orgasmic minute of the process of slow death. You heard that old saying about "not fucking around?" That in no uncertain terms applies to ALL PIGS MUST DIE on "God is War".
