A LIFE ONCE LOST Vocalist Launches Record Label
April 3, 2009A LIFE ONCE LOST vocalist Robert Meadows has announced the launch of his new record label Staggered Works Music. The label's first release is slated for April 17 with Doylestown, Pennsylvania hardcore band WAR PIGS.
Staggered Works Music is a spin-off of the Bucks County and Philadelphia booking agency Staggered Works, which was founded by Meadows in 2006. Since '06, Robert Meadows has gathered like-minded individuals and Staggered Works has grown to be a collective of concert promoters, musicians and artists organizing anywhere from five to 15 all-ages/21+ shows a month in Bucks County and Philadelphia. "With so many great bands emerging from Bucks County, Philadelphia and everywhere else under the sun, it just made sense to build a home for artists and bands that feel the way we do about music," says Meadows.
Staggered Works Music has plans to release several more albums over the next year in genres ranging from hardcore to metal to even experimental rock and pop punk. "We are going to be bringing something to a music scene that has been lacking for years now, in my opinion — THE TRUE PASSION FOR MUSIC," says Meadows. "This has been a dream of mine now for years, to be able to release music that is affordable and also exceptional in every way. This is supposed to be fun, remember."
Staggered Works Music has a record-release show planned for WAR PIGS' new album, "Degeneration", on April 17 at The Moose Lodge in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. WAR PIGS will share the stage that night with SHIPWRECK A.D., LAYIN' WASTE (featuring Robert Meadows),EATING GLASS, BONGRIPPER and BURDENS.
