ABDULLAH Among Nominees At Cleveland's FREE TIMES MUSIC AWARDS

January 16, 2005

Cleveland, Ohio-based ABDULLAH have been nominated in the "Best Hard Rock Band" and "Best Bass Player" (Ed Stephens) categories at the sixth annual Free Times Music Awards, which will be held on Thursday, February 24 at the Odeon.

This is the second straight year the band has been nominated for the Free Times Awards. Last year the band performed a "powerful, jaw-dropping set" at the industry/invite-only awards show, according to a press release.

ABDULLAH, whose sound has been dubbed "high-energy death rock", combining the best of BLACK SABBATH and the MISFITS, were also the winner of Scene magazine's "Best Metal Band" award last year.
