ABORTED Part Ways With Drummer

March 1, 2004

Belgian gory death metallers ABORTED have parted ways with longtime drummer Frank. "The reason of the break up with Frank is mainly due to musical reasons," the band write on their web site. "He is a great guy and we wish him the best of luck in his further musical & non musical career." Replacing Frank for the upcoming tour with CANNIBAL CORPSE will be Dirk Verbeuren from the French band SCARVE (also currently in SOILWORK).

As previously reported, ABORTED will be releasing a new mini-CD, "The Haematobic", on April 19 to coincide with the CANNIBAL CORPSE tour. The disc will contain three new tracks, a cover of ENTOMBED's "Drowned", plus several live audio and video cuts. The exact track listing can be viewed here.
