ABORTED To Film 'Dead Wreckoning' Video

May 23, 2005

Belgian gory death metallers ABORTED have posted the following message on their official web site:

"OK, everyone, so we did the shows as a four-piece [following the departure of guitarist Bart Vergaert] and everything went smooth. Thanks to everyone for coming out & being supportive! We are working on a new guy & we'll make some announcements after the US dates.

"Other news is we're flying out to NY on Tuesday morning for the set of East Coast dates with LENG TCH'E, IMPALED and MALIGNANCY. We're stoked to get out there & play the shows. After the Maryland Deathfest we're flying out to L.A. to play a couple shows with CREMATORIUM & record a new video for 'Dead Wreckoning' with director Darren Doane. These are very exciting times, and we can't wait to see all of you on tour!

"On the touring plan as well some updates since it wasn't on the site yet: ABORTED got added to the october U.S. tour of SUFFOCATION, CRYPTOPSY and CEPHALIC CARNAGE. This is one boner lineup and should be one long fucking party! The tour spreads out four weeks over the whole U.S. and Canada. [Check out the dates at this location.] Besides this we'll also be doing our first Scandinavian dates in August/September, where we'll go to Norway & Sweden (including Gothenburg Deathfest).

"To all of you who have been waiting to see us, here we come!!! Cheers!!!"

ABORTED's most recent album, "The Archaic Abattoir", was released in March via Listenable Records. The CD was mixed at Antfarm Studios in Denmark with producer Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, PANZERCHRIST, MNEMIC, EKTOMORF, DESTINY). Guest vocal appearances on the album include Bo Summer (ILLDISPOSED),Michael Bogballe (MNEMIC) and Jacob Bredahl (HATESPHERE).
