ABORTED Vocalist SVEN DE CALUWÉ Interviewed; Audio Available

September 29, 2008

Abort Magazine's "celebrity" interviewer, NINJASPY's Joel Parent, recently spoke to vocalist Sven de Caluwé of the European death metal butchers ABORTED about the band's current Century Media release "Strychnine 213", the theory behind the intricate titles and, of course… murder.

The interview is available for download as an MP3 audio file at AbortMag.com.

ABORTED, whose members hail from Belgium, France and UK, recently wrapped up a successful U.S. run with CARCASS, SUFFOCATION, 1349 and ROTTEN SOUND.

Released on June 24 via Century Media Records, ABORTED's new album, "Strychnine.213", combines the band's undeniable live energy with a powerhouse production from Eric Rachel (THE RED CHORD, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, GOD FORBID) and a "fuck-you, rock-and-roll" approach to the overly edited, sterile sounding death metal records of today, according to a press release. The album's macabre cover artwork was designed by Colin Marks of Rain Song.
