ABSENCE OF THE SACRED Preparing To Record New Album

Singapore-based extreme metallers ABSENCE OF THE SACRED are preparing to enter TNT Studios to begin recording their sophomore album, "Era of the Apostate", for an early 2008 release. The follow-up to 2006's "Atrocities That Birthed Abominations" will contain nine "blazing" tracks (including a cover of ATHEIST's "Unholy War") of "blistering melodic death/thrash in the vein of DIMENSION ZERO, AT THE GATES, DARK TRANQUILLITY and early SOILWORK," according to a press release. The CD will be mixed and mastered by Michael Kalember at Busybug Studios.
