ABYSMAL DAWN: New Songtitles Revealed

February 21, 2007

ABYSMAL DAWN, the Los Angeles-based extreme metal band featuring former members of RISE and INHUMAN VISION, has issued the following update:

"We're proud to announce our addition to this year's Los Angeles Murderfest lineup. We will be playing on Saturday, March 24th with such legends as OBITUARY, ATHEIST, REPULSION, DECEASED and the finest local metal L.A. has to offer. We'll be trying out a few new songs that night, so don't miss it! More info including ticket prices can be found at www.losangelesmurderfest.com

"Speaking of new material, we have been very busy lately writing the new record! We have four songs worth of music done so far and two more in the works. We plan to enter the studio at the beginning of June once again with John Haddad [EYES OF FIRE, PHOBIA, INTRONAUT] at Shiva Industries in Santa Ana. If everything goes according to plan we'll have the record out for all you maniacs sometime this fall. Some tentative song titles so far are 'Walk the Path of Fire', 'Programmed to Consume' and 'Grotesque Modern Art'.

"On the bass player front, we are still holding auditions for a new member. We have a few promising candidates as of right now but in the meantime, we will be using the services of our friend Mike Bear (ARTISAN) for live duties. Those interested in trying out contact [email protected]."

ABYSMAL DAWN's debut album, "From Ashes", was released in North America in April 2006 via Crash Music Inc. It was engineered, mixed and mastered by John Haddad at Shiva Industries.
