AC/DC: ASCII Art Recreation Of 'Rock 'N Roll Train' Video Wins Award
March 25, 2009According to Musically.com, the digital services team at Sony Music U.K. won a prestigious MediaGuardian Innovation award in the "Advertising Campaign" category last night (March 24) for an ASCII art recreation of AC/DC's "Rock 'N Roll Train" video in an Excel spreadsheet (see below). It was up against Honda's famous live skydiving TV ad, and a home office anti-gun and knife crime campaign. "We spent about 0.005% of the cash that the others did," Sony's Daniel Ayers said.
