AC/DC Fans In Belgrade Wait For Hours To See Their Heroes

Blic Online reports that several hundreds AC/DC fans waited from the early morning hours on Tuesday (May 26) before being allowed to enter the Partizan stadium in Belgrade, Serbia and secure the best seats possible for the band's sold-out concert at the venue. Although it was previously announced that the gates were to open at 3 p.m., it never happened, because as fans found out, the ticket readers were not ready. Numerous fans had to hide in the shade near the stadium due to high temperatures which exceeded thirty degrees Celsius.

"I have been here since 12 a.m. and I expect be the first to enter, because I have always wanted to go to AC/DC concert. The first AC/DC record that I heard was of my father and I think I'll go crazy when they appear on the stage," said Milan from Kladovo, who came with two friends from Smederevska Palanka, for whom this will be the first concert in their lives.

Most of the the fans who lined up in the early hours for the concert were from Bulgaria (about 1,800 people) and Croatia.

"I've come to make my childhood dream come true, since I've been listening to AC/DC for over 25 years and their music gives me a complete sense of freedom," said Filip from Sofia.
