AC/DC: Fargo Ticket Sales Going 'Extremely Well'
October 11, 2008Matthew Von Pinnon of GrandForksHerald.com reports that opening-day ticket sales for a January 17 concert by rock music giants AC/DC at Fargodome in Fargo, North Dakota are going "extremely well," according to the dome's marketing manager.
Though tickets were still available for the show as of 12:30 p.m. today, some people wanting them experienced online ordering delays and a busy number for Ticketmaster, ticketing agent for the show. Tickets, which are $69.50 or $89.50, went on sale at 10 a.m.
The Fargodome hopes to sell about 21,000 tickets for the show. When AC/DC last played at the venue in April 2001, it sold 21,500 tickets.
