AC/DC Films 'Anything Goes' Video
March 3, 2009According to AC-DC.net, longtime AC/DC director David Mallet was in Paris, France last week with a film crew to film a promotional video for the new "Black Ice" single, "Anything Goes". The clip was shot at Bercy in the afternoon on Friday, February 27 in the empty venue, with additional sequences filmed during the concert that same night.
As previously reported, AC/DC was forced to cancel tonight's (Tuesday, March 3) show at Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Belgium after one of the bandmembers (reportedly vocalist Brian Johnson) was taken ill. The group played a sold-out concert at the same venue on Sunday (March 1) to positive reviews.
Tickets to both Belgian shows sold out within two hours after they went on sale.
AC/DC's "Black Ice" was among the top-selling albums of 2008 globally, according to new figures from the London-based International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI),which represents the recording industry worldwide.
Two AC/DC tracks, "Shoot To Thrill" and "War Machine", are being used as theme songs for WrestleMania XXV, which takes place on April 5 at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas.
