AC/DC: Signed Fender Guitar To Be Auctioned For Charity

According to Australia's The Border Mail, the crew from the Australian radio station 105.7 The River are relying on members of AC/DC and the Socceroos football team and to entice bidders at their charity auction in Albury Saturday (July 1).

The radio station is determined to raise $28,000 to purchase an isolet machine, similar to a humidity crib, for the pediatric ward of the Albury Base Hospital as part of their Give Me 5 For Kids fundraiser.

Morning announcer Katie Newman said a Fender guitar signed by the members of AC/DC a 2006 signed Socceroos team photo and were bound to force Border residents to dig deep into their pockets.

"This is our last opportunity to reach our target and we want to finish our campaign with a bang," she said.
