AC/DC Talks About Rolling Stone Magazine Cover; Video Available
November 3, 2008An interview with AC/DC about their cover appearance on the October 30, 2008 issue of Rolling Stone magazine and their new album, "Black Ice", can be viewed below. This marks the first time in 27 years that the band has appeared on the magazine's cover. Rolling Stone's last major feature on AC/DC appeared 28 years ago to the day, in the October 30, 1980 issue, according to AC-DC.net.

AC/DC's "Black Ice" is Wal-Mart's fastest-selling album of 2008, according to figures released last week. The disc, which is being sold exclusively through Wal-Mart, Sam's Club and ACDC.com, moved more than 780,000 copies in its first seven days of release to debut at the No. 1 spot on last week's Billboard album chart.
Special "pop-up" AC/DC stores are open through January 9 in New York City and Los Angeles, where Wal-Mart does not have stores.
"Black Ice" also topped the sales charts in 29 other countries last week, including the U.K., Germany, Canada, France, Argentina, Japan, Australia, Belgium, Finland, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Switzerland and more.
AC/DC kicked off its world tour in support of "Black Ice" on October 28 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
