AC/DC Tickets Double Up The Competition In The Top Events

TicketNews reports that AC/DC's fans have shown their support by making the band's first tour since 2001 the top-selling event for the week ending September 21. Most of the tickets for the North American leg of their "Black Ice World Tour" went on sale this past week, helping move AC/DC up seven spots from last weeks number eight position. The band also announced this week that it would use paperless ticket technology for members for their fan club who purchase select seats on the tour.

AC/DC finished with a power score of 8.90, more than double that of runner-up WICKED which finished at 4.26.
