AC/DC To Perform Special New York City Show

February 18, 2003

AC/DC will perform a special one-off show at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City on Tuesday, March 11. Tickets for the show are not availabe for sale, and the only way for fans to get into the gig is to win tickets from select retail, radio promotions or the group's official web site, "It's going to be a weird combination," guitarist Malcolm Young told "We'll have all the real fans up front, and all the execs in the balcony. It'll be fun, because it's a small venue, and, ya know, we want to rip it up a bit for them."

On Monday, March 10, AC/DC will be inducted into the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame by AEROSMITH frontman Steven Tyler. An edited version of the 18th annual induction ceremony, which takes at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York City, will air March 16 at 9 p.m. ET on VH1. Artists are eligible for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25 years after they released their first recording.
