AC/DC To Play Canada In August?

March 24, 2009

According to CP24, Anglo-Australian hard-rockers AC/DC have signed a deal to perform at Magnetic Hill in New Brunswick, Canada later this summer, CTV News reported Tuesday.

Quoting unnamed sources in the concert industry, CTV said the concert will be held at the outdoor venue near Moncton on August 6.

The official announcement will be made Wednesday, the network said.

Dallas Morning News recently reported that Dallas Cowboys executive Stephen Jones told a crowd at the University of Texas at Arlington on March 10 that AC/DC was one of several musical acts the team was close to booking for a show at the Cowboys' new stadium in Arlington. Jones did not give a tentative date for the gig.
