AC/DC: Tulsa Show Still On

January 26, 2009

Jennifer Chancellor of Tulsa World reports tonight's (January 26) AC/DC's performance at the the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma will go ahead as scheduled.

The forecast continues to call for a wintry mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow this afternoon for much of eastern Oklahoma through Tuesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Tulsa.

"We have posted listings of all hotels withing a five-mile radius of the center, in case people are worried about making the trip home," said Casey Sparks, director of marketing and sales for the BOK Center.

She also said there will be plenty of covered parking available at Civic Parkade, 100 West Garage or Crowne Plaza garage. T-Town Trolley will also be running tonight, she said.

The BOK Center site will be updated and the media will be notified immediately if the show does need to be canceled due to hazardous conditions.
