ACHERON Issues Brazilian Tour Recap

ACHERON founder Vincent Crowley has issued the following update:

"Last weekend was the GRAVE / ACHERON 2008 Brazilian assault. It did not start off too well. Kyle [Severn; INCANTATION, WOLFEN SOCIETY] and I had to deal with airline weather issues in Columbus, Ohio that delayed our flight to Newark, New Jersey, and made us miss our connecting flight to Sao Paulo, Brazil. We worked all night trying to get another flight out, but were unable to do so. So ACHERON had to cancel our first Sao Paulo show. The band would like to apologize to the fans for not being able to make the show happen. But there was nothing we could do. ACHERON promises we will be back sometime next year to make up the missed show! We hope you come out to see us then!

"But we had a great time playing the last two shows in Belo Horizonte and Porto Alegre with Swedish death metallers GRAVE! Even though we didn't get much sleep and were in airports and hotels most of our free time, ACHERON enjoyed playing in Brazil. We can't wait to come back!

"We would like to thank Ola, Fredrik, Magnus and Ronny from GRAVE, our road manager Victor Barbosa and all fans for making this a killer experience. And a very special thanks to Eduardo Lane from Tumba Records who helped to make everything happen! Thanks for the treating us great and showing us a good time in Sao Paulo after the shows! And last but not least, all the amazing beautiful women throughout Brazil! Believe me, ACHERON will be back soon!"

ACHERON will team up with Czech Republic's PANDEMIA for the Luciferion Europe Tour 2009.

Having recently signed to Displeased Records, ACHERON entered the studio on September 13, 2008, to start recording its new album "The Final Conflict: Last Days of God". The CD was once again recorded at Mars Recording Compound with Bill Korecky. The follow-up to 2003's "Rebirth: Metamorphosing into Godhood" will be a concept album based on the fall of the three major white light religions, Christianity, Islam and Judaism. An early 2009 release is expected.

Two tracks from ACHERON's 2008 demo, "Satanic Supremacy", are available for streaming on the band's MySpace page. Songs featured are "Godless (We Are Gods!)" and "Power And Might".

ACHERON founder Vincent Crowley and longtime member Kyle Severn (INCANTATION, WOLFEN SOCIETY) have been working with guitarist Max Otworth.
