ACHERON To Perform 'Rites Of The Black Mass' Set In New York City

Black/death metal band ACHERON will perform its "Rites Of The Black Mass" set in New York City on Saturday, March 8. The group will play its debut album in its entirety and end the set with brand new material. Also on the bill are INCANTATION, MANTICORE, DECREPIT, BAPHOMET’S HORN, INFERNAL STRONGHOLD, MALKUTH and others. The show will take place at Europa in Brooklyn, New York.

ACHERON recently recorded a demo entitled "Satanic Supremacy" which can be heard on the band's official MySpace page. Songs featured are "Godless (We Are Gods!)", "Power And Might" and "Rise Of Rebellion". Two of the tracks from the demo will soon be pressed onto a limited seven-inch record.

ACHERON founder Vincent Crowley and longtime member Kyle Severn (INCANTATION, WOLFEN SOCIETY) have been working with guitarist Max Otworth. Former ACHERON axeman Stacey Connolly (LIFE IS LOST) will be playing second guitar for the band during select shows.

The group is presently talking to labels and hopes to be re-signed soon, so that it can start recording its next album, "The Final Conflict: Last Days of God", sometime in 2008.
