ADAGIO Guitarist Lands Two Magazine Columns

November 19, 2005

Guitarist Stephan Forté of the French progressive metallers ADAGIO has two new columns in the French magazine Guitarist. In the first column, dubbed "The Electric Legacy", each month, he will adapt on guitar a short part from a piece of a classical composer (from contemporary to baroque). The first article will focus on Bèla Bartok and will appear in the December 2005 issue of the magazine. In the second column, "Metal Corner", he will write about great heavy riffs, from hard rock to black metal. The first three bands featured are PANTERA, METALLICA and MEGADETH . You can send your questions and comments to: [email protected]. The new version of the magazine comes out with a bonus DVD.

As previously reported, ADAGIO have set "Dominate" as the title of their new album, due in Japan on December 16 via Avalon/Marquee. The CD was produced by Stephan Forté and Kevin Codfert, and was mixed at House of Audio Studios in Germany by Dennis Ward.
