ADEMA To Release 'Kill The Headlights' In July
May 25, 2007Southern California's ADEMA has set "Kill the Headlights" as the title of its new album, due on July 24 through Immortal Records. The CD was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Marshall Altman (MARC BROUSSARD, ZEBRAHEAD). Mastering duties were handled by Eddie Schreyer at Oasis Mastering in Burbank.
ADEMA last year announced the addition of vocalist Bobby Reeves of the Los Angeles-based band LEVEL to the group's ranks. Reeves joined ADEMA as the replacement for Luke Caraccioli, who left the band in October 2005 — only six months after the release of their first album ("Planets") without the contributions of singer Marky Chavez (half-brother of KORN's Jonathan Davis).
ADEMA 2007 is:
Bobby Reeves - Vocals
Tim Fluckey - Guitars
Ed Faris - Guitars
Dave DeRoo - Bass
Kris Kohls - Drums
As previously reported, the ADEMA track "Giving In", from the band's self-titled 2001 debut, is being featured in an advertising campaign from AT&T / Cingular Wireless. According to the band, the commercial "features the intro of the song, with a squadron of fighter jets soaring off in the distance (with the jet streams ending up as 'bars' of wireless signal...!)"
