ADRENALINE MOB's MIKE ORLANDO Featured In CHARVEL Promotional Clip (Video)

January 18, 2012

Mike Orlando (ADRENALINE MOB, TRED, SONIC STOMP) has teamed up with Pristine Productions to create a new video for Charvel guitars. The six-minute clip, which was shot and recorded at Mike's Sonic Stomp Studio in New York, opens up with the Charvel logo and then goes into a blistering riff Mike came up with on the spot. Next up in the video, Mike introduces his new guitar of choice, the Charvel Desolation series. As Mike talks about the guitar, some live footage of ADRENALINE MOB is shown before Mike goes through and gives a detailed "tour" of four of his favorite Charvel guitars. Mike highlights the features of each guitar and then goes into a live version of his song "Shaga Duga" from his "Sonic Stomp II" CD.

Orlando used Charvel's new Desolation series as well as Charvel's So-Cal and San Dimas series guitars while out on the road with ADRENALINE MOB in 2011.

ADRENALINE MOB is the new band featuring Orlando, drummer Mike Portnoy (DREAM THEATER, AVENGED SEVENFOLD) and SYMPHONY X frontman Russell Allen.

The group's full-length debut, "Omertá", will be released on March 13 via the newly formed Elm City Music in conjunction with EMI Label Services. The 11-song CD — which was produced by ADRENALINE MOB and mixed by Jay Ruston, who has previously worked on ANTHRAX's "Worship Music" and STEEL PANTHER's "Balls Out" — includes a blistering reinterpretation of DURAN DURAN's classic "Come Undone" featuring guest vocals by Lzzy Hale of HALESTORM.
