ADRIFT Working On New Material

November 19, 2008

ADRIFT — the Tampa-based heavy rock band featuring Jack Owen of DEICIDE/CANNIBAL CORPSE fame — is currently hard at work on new material. With three new songs already put into the live set ("The Abrupt", "Deeper" and "Full Fruition"),there is still a melting pot of riffage just waiting to be structured. Singer Dean Pskowski had this to say about the ADRIFT writing process: "We like to just get in a room and jam out the songs until we're happy with them. Sometimes I'll bring a song idea in and we'll just toy around with it until it becomes something we would want to share with the rest of the world." Drummer Kevin Astl added: "The new stuff is going to surprise a lot of people and I can't wait for everyone to hear what we have in store for 2009".

Video footage of ADRIFT performing the song "Back To Square One" on September 13, 2008 at the Culture Room in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida can be viewed below.

ADRIFT's debut full-length album "Absolution", was recorded by David Burrill at The Sample Factory in Youngsville, NC, was mixed by Mark Lewis at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, FL, and was mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music in New Windsor, NY.
