AEON Frontman Undergoes Surgery

Sweden's AEON has issued the following update:

"We are sorry to say that we have to cancel the Höstmörker gig in Sundsvall, Sweden. Tommy [Dahlström, vocals] suffered from an almost broken appendix... and he had to undergo surgery. He is alive and well but he needs to take it easy for two weeks or so."

AEON recently inked a multi-album deal with Metal Blade Records. The band also announced the addition of bassist Max Carlberg to the group's ranks.

AEON's most recent album, "Bleeding the False", was released in September 2005 via Unique Leader.
